Lavender has been prized for centuries for its distinctive aroma and its many benefits. In ancient times, the Egyptians and Romans used lavender for bathing, relaxation, cooking and as a perfume. Its calming and relaxing properties when taken internally continue to be lavender's most remarkable qualities.

Add lavender to bath water to relieve stress, or apply it to the temples and neck. Put a few drops of lavender on pillows, bedding or the soles of your feet to relax and find a restful sleep. Because of its versatile properties, lavender is considered the oil to always have on hand.

How to use: Before going to bed, put a few drops of lavender essential oil on your pillow, bedding or the soles of your feet. Keep a small bottle of lavender handy to soothe occasional skin irritations. Freshen your linen closet, mattress, car or the air by mixing lavender with water in a spray bottle.

Precautions: Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or receiving medical treatment, consult your doctor. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears and sensitive areas.
